FAQ

  • Can I come in to the studio on a walk-in basis? Are there day passes?

No, we do not offer day passes or walk-ins. However, if you are a friend or a family member of someone who is currently a member of the studio, you may ask them to request a guest pass for you.

  • Can I bring my own clay and glazes?

We prefer members to purchase clay from CCS to ensure that the correct clay is being fired in our kilns. If you’d like to use a clay or glaze that we do not offer, you must send a formal email here and receive written approval from a staff member first, to ensure it is compatible with our kilns. Clay not purchased in our studio is subject to a standard firing fee of $20 (per 25lb bag) to cover firings and glaze materials. After you receive approval, you are still responsible for any potential damage that may occur from mis-use of outside clay/glaze.

  • What clay bodies do you have in stock?

We currently offer Cone 5 clay bodies such as B-Mix, Speckled Buff, Frost Porcelain, Bravo Buff and Red Velvet (subject to change).
